संस्कृत का परिचय
संस्कृत या संस्कृतम् देवों की भाषा है इसका दूसरा नाम देव वाणी भी है। यह दुनियाँ की प्राचीनतम् भाषाओं मे से एक है और एक समय यह भारत की मूल मात्र भाषा थी। यह देवनागरी लिपि मे लिखी जाती है। संस्कृत बहुत ही प्रवाहशील और सहज भाषा है, इसी भाषा में हमारे सारे ग्रंथ जैसे श्रीमद्भग्वद्गीता, रामायण, महाभारथ, वेद ओर पुराण लिखे हैं। बौद्ध धर्म (विशेषकर महायान) तथा जैन धर्म के भी कई महत्त्वपूर्ण ग्रन्थ भी संस्कृत में ही लिखे गये हैं। संस्कृत संरचनापूर्वक सबसे शुध ओर दोष रहित भाषा है।
संस्कृत बहुत सी भाषाओं की जननी है। आधुनिक भारतीय भाषाएँ जैसे हिन्दी, उर्दू, कश्मीरी, उड़िया, बांग्ला, मराठी, सिन्धी, पंजाबी, नेपाली, आदि इसी से उत्पन्न हुई हैं। इन सभी भाषाओं में यूरोपीय बंजारों की रोमानी भाषा भी शामिल है।
अब हम संस्कृत शब्द को तोड कर देखतें हैं, सम्-स्कृत (सम – जोडना, कृत – करना)। अगर आप संस्कृत के ज्ञाता हैं तो आप जानते होंगे कि धातु के आगे ओर पीछे (उपसर्ग और प्रत्यय) शब्द या अक्षर लगने से संस्कृत मे अनेकों अनेक शब्दों या वाक्यों की रचना की जा सकती है।
संस्कृत की रमणीयता और सहजता अतूलय है। इस साइट के माध्यम से हमारा यह छोटा सा प्रयास रहेगा कि हम संस्कृत, हमरे ग्रथं और संस्कृति को समाज तक पहुँचा सकें। जो गौरव हमारे ह्रदय से अपनी मात्र भाषा और संस्कृति को लेकर लुप्त हो गया है उसे फिर से जागृत कर सकें।

Introduction to Sanskrit
Sanskrit or saṃskṛtam is the language of gods. It is one of the world’s oldest languages and India’s original mother tongue. It is written in Devnagari script. Sanskrit is sweet, fluent and our oldest scriptures like BhagwatGita, Ramayan, Mahabharatha, Veda and Puranas are written in it. It is also considered to be the one of the most structurally correct language.
Sanskrit is the mother of many languages. Modern Indian languages like Hindi, Urdu, Kashmiri, Udiya, Bengali, Marathi, Sindhi, Punjabi, Nepali etc. have originated from the mother of all languages Sanskrit itself. Other originated languages include European Romanin language as well.
Let us now break the word Sanskrit and look into its meaning. Saṃskṛtam (Saṃ – means group similar, kṛtam – means to do). If you are familiar with Sanskrit you would know that many sentences and words can be formed just by adding prefix and postfix to a root word.
Elegance, spontaneity and simplicity of Sanskrit is unparallel to any language of the world.
